William Smith Williams, 79, passed away on Thursday, Nov. 6, 2014, at Heritage House. He was born in McComb, Miss., and was a Baton Rouge resident. He was a retired tourist driver, and he loved to fish. Rev. Brenda Hawkins will conduct services at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 15, 2014, with visiting from 9 a.m., at Scott's Bluff Funeral Home. Survivors include his wife, Lillie Stewart Williams; daughters, Ann Marie Williams and Audrey Brook Williams, both of Alexandria, La.; sons Melton Williams of Beaumont, Texas, Jimmy (Jennifer) Williams of Gulfport, Miss., Donald (Alma) Williams of Houston, Lester Williams, and Barry Williams; a special friend, Betty Petit; 12 grandchildren; and 6 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Oliver and Myrtle Williams; brother Walter Williams; and grandson Daniel Williams.
