A former Cook, Construction Worker and U.S. Army Veteran, he died at 12:50 a.m. on Thursday, Oct. 24, 2013 at OLOL Hospital, Baton Rouge. He was 59 and a native of Kenner. Visiting at Providence Baptist Church, 11509 Jefferson Highway, River Ridge, LA on Saturday, Nov. 2 from 9 a.m. until religious service at 10 a.m., conducted by Dr. Terry Lewis, Pastor. Interment in St. Mark Cemetery. He is survived by his father, Rev. Frank Washington; step-mothers, Juanita Washington and Barbara W. Thompson; three sons; one daughter; six brothers; and eight sisters.
