He passed away on Sunday, Oct. 5, 2014, at Baton Rouge General Medical Center. He was 87. His funeral will be held at noon Friday, Oct. 10, 2014, at Mt. Pilgrim Baptist Church, conducted by Jesse B. Bilberry Jr. Viewing from 10 a.m. until religious service at noon. Dismissal immediately following service; interment will be in Southern Memorial Gardens. Survivors include daughter Paulette L.
