Henry spent his entire life rooted in the community where he first drew breath. He was a constant presence—in the daily rhythms of Baton Rouge, among familiar faces, and within the embrace of family. Those who knew Henry remember him for his gentle spirit, his unwavering loyalty, and his kindness that seemed to know no end.

Among those who mourn his passing is his dear sister, Wanda Augustus, who survives him. The bond Henry shared with Wanda was both deep and enduring; they walked together through every trial and triumph, supporting one another with understanding words and unspoken gestures. Henry’s love for family remained a guiding force throughout his life, shaping his days and bringing warmth to those around him.

A Celebration of Life will follow at 11:00 AM, honoring the memories, stories, and enduring spirit of Henry Augustus.
