was born on January 10, 1958 to the union of Charles Simon Sr. and Fannie Mae Salton whom both proceeded him in death. A Step Father; Thomas Moore, Sr. whom proceeded him in death as well.
Eddie Roy Simon, Sr. accepted Christ and was baptized at an early age. He graduated from Scotlandville High School in 1976.
Eddie Roy Simon, Sr. was married to Unjeral Early and to this union was born five (5) children and one step-daughter Shawanna Early whom he loved and accepted as his own. Two of the five (5) proceeded him in death, Carneshia, Simon, Cavalier, Johnathan Sr. and Eddie Simon, Jr.
He was a loving and outgoing person who loved to make people laugh. He was A diesel mechanic, phenomenal artist and a boy scout who received numerous awards and medals of achievement.
He departed his life on January 12, 2016 at Our Lady of The Lake Hospital.
He leaves to cherish his memories, his daughters, Dekeithtra (Christina), Lucreshia, Kimanique and Shawanna. His siblings Jeffrey Sr. (Shawn), Carla Smith-Newton (Terrance), Deborah, Leo Moore (Dorothy), Dale Sr., Charles Sr., John Sr., and James Earl whom all proceeded him in death as well. Fifteen (15) grandchildren, Nine godchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friend.
