Ebben Johnson, a beloved husband, father, and grandfather, passed away on May 25, 2026, at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center. Born on April 5, 1959, in Alexandria, Louisiana, Ebben lived a life marked by devotion, love, and remarkable talents that touched all who knew him.

Ebben was a proud graduate of high school who dedicated much of his career to public service, working for the state of Louisiana at LSU in the environmental and sanitation department. His commitment to serving the community was a reflection of the caring and charismatic man he was—someone who approached life with warmth and a generous spirit.

Often described as loving and caring, it was his charisma and gentle nature that endeared him to family and friends alike. One of Ebben’s proudest accomplishments was his exceptional skill in playing dominos, a game he cherished deeply. Known affectionately as the "King of Dominos," his talents at the game brought joy and spirited competition, cementing his place as a treasured figure among his loved ones.

Ebben’s life was rich with meaningful relationships. He was devoted to his family, surrounding himself with their love and support at every turn. His role as a husband, father, and grandfather defined him, and these connections were the foundation of his greatest happiness.

Services to honor Ebben’s memory will be held on June 19, 2026, at St Joseph Baptist Church located at 2510 Tennessee St, Baton Rouge, Louisiana. The visitation will begin at 9:00 a.m. and continue until 11:00 a.m., followed by a celebration of life from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Family, friends, and all who knew Ebben are invited to gather and share in remembering his life, love, and legacy.

Though Ebben Johnson has departed from this world, the echoes of his laughter, the wisdom of his guidance, and the depth of his love remain profoundly felt. He will be remembered not only for his talents and accomplishments but for the kindness and heart he shared so freely. His presence in this life was a blessing, and his memory will be cherished always.
