Delores Jones Stringer, 75, of Baton Rouge, died on Wednesday, April 2, 2014. She was a native of Baker. Visitation on Friday, April 11, 2014, at Magnolia Grove Baptist Church, Zachary, from 11 a.m. until service at 12:30 p.m. Interment at Louisiana National Cemetery, Zachary. Survivors: husband, Melvin Stringer; son Theadrick Stringer (Gaynell); sister Bernice Jackson; brother Willie Jones; 2 sisters-in-law Ardra Neldare and Adrian N. Mayes (Walter); 4 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
